Data sources

Values are retrieved from the vehicle’s own control systems via OBD. The data points available vary between manufacturers, models and vehicle variants. The report therefore always states which data it is based on.

Analysis and presentation

Available battery values, such as battery health and capacity data, are compiled in a format that is easy to use internally and present to customers. Every report includes the method and relevant caveats.

Known limitations

The precise definition and calculation of battery health may differ between manufacturers, and the report’s content depends on the data made available by the relevant vehicle model. We aim to make our method, data sources and limitations easy to understand at all times.
